  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup softened butter
  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup milk
  • Red and blue food coloring (optional)

Instructions

  6. Let cookies cool before preparing the filling by beating together butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until creamy; add food coloring if desired.
