  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 5 oz Boursin cheese (garlic & herb flavor)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Boil the macaroni in salted water until al dente; drain.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and whisk in flour to create a roux for about 1 minute.
  3. Gradually stir in the milk and simmer until thickened (about 5 minutes).
  4. Mix in Boursin and Parmesan until melted and smooth; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce; transfer to a greased baking dish.
  6. Mix panko breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the top.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes until golden brown.
