  • 8 oz chow mein noodles
  • 1 cup bell peppers (sliced)
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1 cup carrots (julienned)
  • 1 cup protein (chicken, beef, shrimp, or tofu, diced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp ginger (minced)
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Cook chow mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and toss with a bit of oil to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add protein and sauté until cooked through (5–7 minutes).
  3. Add bell peppers, snow peas, and carrots; stir-fry for about 3–4 minutes until veggies are tender but crisp.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and ginger; cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
  5. Add cooked noodles along with soy sauce and oyster sauce; toss until well combined.
  6. Drizzle sesame oil over the mixture, give it one last toss, and serve hot.
