Description

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries (or frozen)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour and granulated sugar. Add softened butter and mix until crumbly. Press into the bottom of the prepared dish.
  3. In another bowl, mix fresh cranberries with brown sugar and cinnamon until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the cranberry mixture over the crust and sprinkle remaining crumb mixture on top.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown on top.
  6. Allow to cool for at least one hour before slicing into squares.
