  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar until combined. Add eggs one at a time, stirring well after each addition. Mix in cocoa powder and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gently fold in the flour until just combined; the batter should be thick.
  4. In another bowl, mix peanut butter with a bit of sugar until smooth.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the pan, spread evenly, then dollop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture on top. Pour the remaining brownie batter over to seal.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Allow to cool before slicing.
