Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs sweet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups Gruyère cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Layer half of the sweet potato slices in the baking dish followed by half of the cranberries. Repeat the layers.
  4. Pour half of the cream mixture over the layers and top with grated cheese.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving.
