Description

Christmas Tree Deviled Eggs are a festive twist on a classic appetizer, perfect for holiday gatherings. These charming bites feature a creamy, seasoned egg yolk filling piped into vibrant green egg whites and decorated to resemble Christmas trees with colorful toppings.   • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives or parsley, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 6 slices green olives (for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs: Place eggs in a pot covered with cold water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 12 minutes. Transfer to an ice bath.
  2. Prepare the filling: Once cooled, peel eggs and slice in half lengthwise. Scoop out yolks into a bowl.
  3. Mix ingredients: Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper, and herbs to yolks; mash until smooth.
  4. Decorate: Fill egg whites with yolk mixture using a piping bag. Top with diced bell peppers as ornaments and olives as trunks.
  5. Chill & serve: Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
