  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp active dry yeast
  • 1 cup milk (warm)
  • 1/4 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 cup cranberries (fresh or dried)
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp orange juice (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Warm milk to about 110°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  3. Combine melted butter, orange zest, and half the flour into the yeast mixture. Gradually add remaining flour until soft dough forms.
  4. Knead dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl and cover.
  5. Let dough rise in a warm spot for about an hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Roll out dough into a rectangle, spread cranberries evenly, roll tightly, and cut into slices.
  7. Place rolls in a greased baking dish; let rise for another 30 minutes while preheating the oven to 375°F.
  8. Bake rolls for approximately 20 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before drizzling with powdered sugar glaze mixed with orange juice.
