Instructions

  1. Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour seasoned with salt and pepper, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with Italian seasoning.
  2. Coat each mozzarella stick in flour, dip into the egg mixture, and roll in the breadcrumb mixture until fully coated.
  3. Place the coated sticks on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the sticks in batches for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.
