  • 9 lasagna noodles (no-boil)
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 15 oz whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a deep baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat for 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat, then stir in half of the marinara sauce along with garlic powder and oregano. Let simmer.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta with salt and pepper until smooth.
  4. In the baking dish, layer marinara sauce, lasagna noodles, half of the meat mixture, half of the ricotta mix, and a sprinkle of mozzarella. Repeat layers, finishing with noodles topped with marinara and remaining mozzarella.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; uncover and bake an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before slicing into squares. Serve hot with extra Parmesan.
