  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a saucepan, combine water and butter over medium heat until melted. Stir in flour and sugar until fully incorporated, cooking for about two minutes until it forms a ball.
  2. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before adding eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition until smooth.
  3. Transfer dough into a piping bag fitted with a large round tip. Pipe small mounds onto parchment-lined baking sheets, smoothing any peaks with wet fingers.
  4. Bake for about 20-25 minutes until puffed and golden brown. Avoid opening the oven too soon to prevent collapsing.
  5. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form, then gently fold in eggnog, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
  6. Once cooled completely, cut slits in the tops of each puff and pipe in the eggnog filling generously.
