  • 24 oz frozen thick-cut French fries
  • 8 oz ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers (mixed colors), sliced
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup chopped green onions (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread frozen fries on the baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes or until crispy.
  3. While fries bake, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season ribeye slices with salt and pepper and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Transfer to a plate.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté onions and bell peppers for about 5-7 minutes until softened.
  5. Once fries are ready, layer sautéed steak mixture on top and sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over everything.
  6. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve hot with sour cream and green onion toppings.
