Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs boneless beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (cold)
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 8 oz Swiss cheese (shredded)
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup milk (cold)

Instructions

  1. Sear the boneless beef chuck roast in a hot skillet until browned on all sides.
  2. Transfer beef to a slow cooker with beef broth and Worcestershire sauce; cover and cook on low for about 8 hours until fork-tender.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and cold butter using a pastry cutter until crumbly. Gradually add milk to form dough.
