Description

Gochujang Cauliflower Wings are a delectable, plant-based twist on traditional chicken wings. Crispy on the outside and bursting with spicy, sweet, and smoky flavors on the inside, these wings are perfect for game day, parties, or a cozy dinner at home. Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower (cut into florets)
  • 1/2 cup gochujang paste
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Cut cauliflower into even-sized florets.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and cornstarch; gradually add cold water to create a thick batter.
  3. Coat each cauliflower floret in batter and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together gochujang paste, soy sauce, honey/maple syrup, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  6. Toss baked cauliflower in the sauce mixture; return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
