  • 1 lb ground beef or lamb
  • 2 tbsp harissa paste
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 8 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, harissa paste, panko breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, and pepper; mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. While the meatballs bake, blend feta cheese, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and olive oil in a food processor until smooth.
  6. Serve the meatballs warm atop whipped feta and drizzle with olive oil if desired.
