Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the broccoli by washing and cutting it into bite-sized florets. If using frozen shrimp, thaw them under cold water.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Sauté the broccoli for about 4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender.
  3. Add the minced garlic to the skillet and stir for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Push the broccoli to one side of the skillet and add another tablespoon of olive oil if needed. Add the shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes until pink and opaque.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the shrimp and broccoli in the skillet.
  6. Toss everything together gently to coat in the sauce, cooking for an additional minute until heated through.
