  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup Irish cream liqueur (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 1 cup strong brewed espresso or coffee (cooled)
  • 20 savoiardi (ladyfingers)
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Brew one cup of strong espresso and let it cool. Mix in half a cup of Irish cream liqueur.
  2. In a large bowl, whip one cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in one cup of mascarpone cheese and another half cup of Irish cream until smooth.
  3. Dip each ladyfinger briefly into the coffee mixture and layer them in a baking dish. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  4. Repeat the layering process with more dipped ladyfingers and remaining mascarpone mixture.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least four hours or overnight to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Dust with cocoa powder before serving and drizzle with extra Irish cream.
