  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium)
  • 2 tbsp gochujang
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (preferably Japanese)
  • 1 tsp Sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, garlic, green onions, egg, soy sauce, and gochujang until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into one-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown and fully cooked.
  5. While the meatballs are baking, whisk together mayonnaise, Sriracha, ketchup, lemon juice, and sesame oil in a bowl to create the spicy mayo dip.
  6. Serve the cooked meatballs on a platter with the spicy mayo dip.
