  • 4 (6 oz) fresh salmon fillets
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup white or red miso paste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by finely chopping the garlic and measuring out the other components.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, miso paste, minced garlic, soy sauce, and lemon juice until smooth.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour half of the glaze over them. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the marinated salmon on it. Bake for 12-15 minutes until flaky.
  6. Drizzle with remaining glaze and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
