The juicy steak, seared to perfection, is bathed in a rich garlic butter and finished with a creamy Parmesan sauce that elevates every bite. Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak (1-inch thick)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh herbs (thyme or parsley)
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tbsp olive oil.
  2. Season both sides of the sirloin steak generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear the steak for about 4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Flip only once.
  4. Add crushed garlic and butter when flipping the steak to infuse flavors.
  5. Once cooked to desired doneness (130°F for medium-rare), remove the steak and cover it with foil to rest.
  6. In the same skillet, pour in beef broth and heavy cream, scraping up brown bits from the pan.
  7. Stir in freshly grated Parmesan until melted and smooth, then drizzle over the rested steak before serving.
