  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (120g)
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs (100g)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Boil cubed potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and mash until smooth.
  2. Stir in shredded cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper while potatoes are warm.
  3. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then form into stick shapes (about 3 inches long).
  4. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs. Dredge each stick in flour, dip in eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry sticks until golden brown on all sides, approximately 3-4 minutes per side.
