  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 cup fresh cremini mushrooms (sliced)
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh sage (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Sauté sliced mushrooms in butter over medium heat until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine pumpkin puree, heavy cream, sautéed mushrooms, chopped sage, salt, pepper, and half the Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and fit it into a tart pan without stretching it.
  5. Pour the filling into the pastry shell and sprinkle remaining Parmesan on top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown.
