  • 1/2 cup plain breadcrumbs

  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 large russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic (for mashed potatoes), minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs about two inches in diameter and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  5. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, add flour to create a roux, then whisk in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce until thickened.
  6. Boil cubed potatoes in salted water until fork-tender. Drain and return to pot; add butter, milk, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mash until creamy.
