  • 4 cups sliced Granny Smith apples (about 4 medium apples)
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, toss sliced apples with lemon juice, half the brown sugar, and cinnamon until coated.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, remaining brown sugar, oats, and cold butter until crumbly.
  4. Press half of the crumble mixture into the bottom of the pan. Layer apple mixture on top and drizzle with salted caramel.
  5. Sprinkle remaining crumble over the apples and bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
