  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped (about 1 cup)
  • 2 medium carrots, diced (about 1 cup)
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Nonstick cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground lamb or beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and diced carrots; sauté for about 5 minutes until softened. Stir in frozen peas.
  4. Mix in Worcestershire sauce, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Spoon the meat mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with an even layer of mashed potatoes.
  6. Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
