  • 1 pound large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare shrimp by peeling and deveining them. Mince garlic and chop parsley.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt olive oil and half the butter until bubbly.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Place shrimp in a single layer in the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  5. Pour in white wine and lemon juice; stir gently to combine. Let simmer for another couple of minutes.
  6. Remove from heat, stir in remaining butter and chopped parsley. Serve immediately over pasta or with crusty bread.
