  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 large sweet yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ cup heavy cream or sour cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  3. Add seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and sear for about 5 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and soy sauce, scraping up any brown bits from the skillet. Stir in smoked paprika.
  5. Reduce heat to low and mix in cream or sour cream; let simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Transfer everything to a baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for about 30 minutes until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
