  • 0.5 lb Italian sausage (mild or spicy)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian-style)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • 1 cup marinara sauce (plus more for topping)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, Italian sausage, breadcrumbs, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper, and eggs until well combined.
  3. Fold in half of the shredded mozzarella.
