- 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 12 rice paper wrappers
- ½ cup sweet chili sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Prepare ingredients: chop garlic and rinse basil leaves.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned (5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat and stir in minced garlic; cook for an additional minute.
- Add soy sauce to the beef mixture, then fold in fresh basil leaves; cook for 2 more minutes until basil wilts.
- Soften rice paper wrappers by dipping them in warm water for about 10-15 seconds.
- Place a spoonful of the beef mixture on one end of the wrapper, fold in the sides, and roll tightly. Repeat until all filling is used.
- Serve rolls with sweet chili sauce drizzled on top or on the side for dipping.
