- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (for ganache)
- 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate (for ganache)
- 6 fresh strawberries, rinsed and dried
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with muffin liners.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sugar.
- In another bowl, beat softened butter until creamy; add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract. Mix until fluffy.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture while alternating with milk. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Fill each liner two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- For ganache, heat heavy cream until simmering; pour over chopped chocolate and stir until glossy.
- Once cooled completely, dip cupcakes into ganache and top with a fresh strawberry.
